The M+P steering committee met tonight (as it does every second Monday of the month from 6-8 pm - free childcare and at the LBGT Center as always) and everyone unanimously agreed that it would be great if more people commented and posted to the blog.
Commenting is easy ... simply click the comment button, type your comment and press submit. For posts, simply send your post to mamaspapasblog@gmail.com with the word SUBMISSION or POST in the subject and it will be posted. All posts and comments are moderated - meaning that a steering committee member reads them prior to publishing the comment here. 99.9% of submissions are accepted. Our goal is not meant to censor but to protect the participants of M+P and OFC.

We are an LGBTQ family group offering conversation for parents and free child care for children 6 months and older. Parents of children 0-5 years meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 10-12 and parents of 5-10 year olds meet on the 3rd Saturday from 3:45-5:45pm. Both meet at the LGBT Center at 1800 Market Street in San Francisco. .

About the Mamas & Papas
Mamas & Papas started in 2003 as an independent, drop-in, parent-led discussion group for LGBT families. Our Family Coalition has served as the Fiscal Sponsor for Mamas & Papas in recent years.
Mamas & Papas has now become a project of Our Family Coalition which offers us mutual benefits and opportunities that will improve cooperation and visibility of our mutual programs, improve our outreach to the diverse LGBT family community, and more efficiently use resources in both organizations.

Help your kids build lasting friendships with other children growing up with LGBT families. Each month Mamas & Papas hosts parent-led discussion and activity groups for LGBT parents with kids 0-8 years old.

When: 2nd Saturday of each month. Free childcare and kids activities begin at 9:30am, Adult discussion begins at 10:00am
